Shoot anything in India is always such a pleasure especially with Destination Indian wedding photography being our line of work. Every corner and ally presents a new photo opportunity. It really is a photographer dream. The gateway of India is a popular landmark in India. I remember it faintly from a family trip we took to India 8years ago. Faintly, because we were moody
teenagers at the time who refused to get out of the car and only saw it through a car window in between a sleep. Thou times have changed since then and even thou sleeping is still my absolute favourite pass time, I tend to see far more of the places I visit and now hate being hotel bound. Visiting India presents its own challenges but visiting India during monsoon season presents an entirely different set of challenges. For this shoot monsoon season is probably the best time to shoot at the Gateway. Rainy weather means that it won’t be as crowed, partially cloudy skies take the focus of all the people in the background and the best thing of all, we get awesome reflections. This was a fun afternoon shoot with lots on puddles and soaked Shoes. Enjoy the pictures and don’t forget to like us on Facebook

Tershia and Himesh are tying the knot this December. She is moving down to Cape Town after the wedding hence we thought a Cape Town engagement shoot would be a perfect location. Especially since the wedding will be in Pretoria as is custom in Gujarati weddings for the bride's family to host the function in their hometown. This was yet another early morning shoot. We are so used to shooting super early that we didn’t realize that the sun only comes up at about 7 in Cape Town. The concept for this shoot was, colourful and fun with a dash of amazing scenery. Horses on the beach have always been something I dreamt of shooting and I must say that this August was filled with dream shoots. It was almost as if I had to keep pinching myself to check if it all was real. So a huge thank you goes out to all the couples that made this august possible and so amazing for Mitesh and myself. I can’t wait to share the rest on the blog and our Facebook page. We are looking forward to all your comments. go to http://www.facebook.com/DesignerphotoSA for more
A sneak peek of a fun colourful shoot we did it cape town.
Bhavani and Aakash first met at a Science expo in high school and later started dating when they both moved to Johannesburg. The couples wedding took place at Kendra in Durban.
Bhavani says the highlight of her wedding day was when she walked onto the stage and Akaash threw petals down for her as she walked in. The couple honeymooned in Koh Samui in Thailand. This weddings contact sheet Décor: Spot On Lighting & Decor - Sanveer 0824508342 Dress: Urvashi in Churchgate in Mumbai. They sell unstitched only Grooms suit: Dinbandur,Mumbai. Akaash wanted a mix of three different styles and this place made him exactly what he wanted, with the specific Lord Ganesha embroidery on the outfit that he chose. Sound: Kamal from The Sound Factor Wedding rings: Bellagio Sandton - 0117844062 Shiraz. We simply loved this shoot. It was perfect from the weather to the couple. This location was an idea for about two and a half years. I must say that i couldn't have imagined it to be more perfect. Bhavani has to be one of our biggest Facebook fans and has been promoting us even before we did her wedding. So we hope she loves her pics more then any of our other pics...:)
As most of our regular readers know, we where in Phuket, Thailand earlier this year doing a few shoots, amongst other stuff. We've been meaning to get our Phuket shoots out for atleast a month now, but the wedding shoots had to take priority, so over the course of the next few weeks we will be rolling out all our Thailand shoots. Vandana and Puneet are fashion Designers based in Delhi. Vandana is originally from Bangalore and Puneet is from Shimla. The couple met at collage in New Delhi. The couple where on a short break away in Phuket, Thailand. Thank you Vandana and Puneet for this amazing experience. Puneet has his own unique bridal wear range. The range is defiantly worth a look if you are going to India to shop for your wedding outfit and want Designer wear that is unique and different. click here for more images got to our facebook page |
