Livingston in Zambia proves to be a stunning destination with tons of activities for guests to do. The best part for us was that the thundering Victoria falls was only minutes away.
Preeti and Himal had a beautiful afternoon wedding in Khao Lak, Thailand. The wedding took place on the Beach front of the Katiliya Khao Lak Resort and Pool Villas. Planning a destination wedding may seem like a daunting task for many brides. However, with Phuket being the ideal destination wedding location, it's fairly easy and cost effective. It's at these weddings that we see families spend quality time together, be it a day spent at the beach, going on tours or even just eating out and sampling local cuisine together. Destination weddings are more about the trip, days spent together and the memories created, rather than the actual wedding ceremony. Thailand is becoming a second home for us and we are looking forward to shooting many more weddings here.
Life to a degree, is dualistic in nature we experience ups and downs we have good days where life goes according to plan, and we have bad days where life doesn’t. This is the nature of life, always fluctuating.
It's when those bad days get confused with days that are supposed to be filled with excitement and happiness, that's when life throws us in the middle off the ocean with not a single float and we are then forced to fight and swim. It's during these days that we learn vital life lessons and learn to appreciate every moment. It's also often moments like these that show us the character and strength of a person. Brides don't plan to spend the night before their wedding in a hospital. Sanam had a terrible accident the night before her wedding. She had sustained some serious injuries. Thankfully Sanam was okay and managed to get discharged so that she could attend her wedding. Sanam's strength throughout this ordeal left me in awe of her. She chose to pick up the pieces, carry on and turn the situation around. She choose to turn a bad day into a great day, one that she will definitely look back on and be very proud of. |
