We woke up early for a sunrise shoot, it was strangely cold for Dubai. Little Hashay stole the show that morning. He is one daring kid that loves water. He first started by dipping his toes in the water then he was knee high, and five minutes later he was sitting in the water. Even though it was freezing he was content and refused to move. Hashay is such a cute cuddly happy baby and with the most adorable smile

Shoot anything in India is always such a pleasure especially with Destination Indian wedding photography being our line of work. Every corner and ally presents a new photo opportunity. It really is a photographer dream. The gateway of India is a popular landmark in India. I remember it faintly from a family trip we took to India 8years ago. Faintly, because we were moody
teenagers at the time who refused to get out of the car and only saw it through a car window in between a sleep. Thou times have changed since then and even thou sleeping is still my absolute favourite pass time, I tend to see far more of the places I visit and now hate being hotel bound. Visiting India presents its own challenges but visiting India during monsoon season presents an entirely different set of challenges. For this shoot monsoon season is probably the best time to shoot at the Gateway. Rainy weather means that it won’t be as crowed, partially cloudy skies take the focus of all the people in the background and the best thing of all, we get awesome reflections. This was a fun afternoon shoot with lots on puddles and soaked Shoes. Enjoy the pictures and don’t forget to like us on Facebook Time for another sneak peek, this was our first shoot on our recent trip to India in August. Two beautiful girls with lots of personality, helium balloons and overcast rainy day. What more could I ask for ❤ Destination kids photography in Mumbai, IndiaWhat I thought was turning out to be a very mild winter at the time of this shoot was definitely not the case this week as we actually had snow fall in Johannesburg. Tiya and Arya's shoot was our last bit of winter. These girls are gorgeous. We did one bit of the shoot in bright fun playful colours and the other bit was pink and pretty. The bluish sky and golden light on the day of the shoot was picture perfect. We all where supper dusty after the shoot but looking at the images I'd say it was well worth it.
Its been a busy week for us, especially with this temporary new look website and all the wedding albums we are trying to get to the the printers. We shot this just at the beginning of autumn. It’s part of our new themed kids shoots, however this is more likely the outcome of a little boys photo shoot. Who said it had to be all pink and flowery. The look we were going for is a slightly antique looking farm picnic. Malachi is still very wobbly on his feet, which is incredibly cute. His expressions below are simply priceless. More pics from this shoot are available of our Facebook page
It doesn’t get much cuter then this on our site, little Kaiyah was less than a week old when we did this shoot. Her mum bought the cutest colorful tutu especially for Kaiyah’s first photo shoot. You might not believe it but I actually knitted the neutral beige cocoon she’s in with some help from my mum and sister and obviously Google. The things I’d actually do for a good pic... Results of being a perfectionist = knitting
