Roheet and Praveshni's wedding took place on a beautiful Benaulim Beach at the Taj Exotica in South Goa, India. Shooting destination weddings has its fair set of challenges but also is the ultimate dream for every wedding photographer. Its challenges being, that there is always the unknown, what gear to pack ( as you don't want to be traveling to heavy as its no joke to lift a heavy bag into the overhead plane cabin) and all the other things like climate, lighting etc...but because we are documentary wedding photographers we have learned to look all these challenges as rather opportunities to create new fresh images. Praveshni and Roheet amazed us by managing to shop for their wedding attire a few days before the wedding in Mumbai and believe me shopping in the hustle and bustle of the city is no easy task. i love that their outfits weren't coordinated and i thought that the color combination of purple and red was so original and different. The best part of this destination wedding for us had to be intimacy of the event. This will be a wedding Mitesh and i will never forget and i sure many off the guests that attended the wedding would say the same.

Shoot anything in India is always such a pleasure especially with Destination Indian wedding photography being our line of work. Every corner and ally presents a new photo opportunity. It really is a photographer dream. The gateway of India is a popular landmark in India. I remember it faintly from a family trip we took to India 8years ago. Faintly, because we were moody
teenagers at the time who refused to get out of the car and only saw it through a car window in between a sleep. Thou times have changed since then and even thou sleeping is still my absolute favourite pass time, I tend to see far more of the places I visit and now hate being hotel bound. Visiting India presents its own challenges but visiting India during monsoon season presents an entirely different set of challenges. For this shoot monsoon season is probably the best time to shoot at the Gateway. Rainy weather means that it won’t be as crowed, partially cloudy skies take the focus of all the people in the background and the best thing of all, we get awesome reflections. This was a fun afternoon shoot with lots on puddles and soaked Shoes. Enjoy the pictures and don’t forget to like us on Facebook Time for another sneak peek, this was our first shoot on our recent trip to India in August. Two beautiful girls with lots of personality, helium balloons and overcast rainy day. What more could I ask for ❤ Destination kids photography in Mumbai, IndiaVanecia and Avin met 12 years ago. The high school sweet hearts got married in April 2012 at Makiti,Cradle of humankind. They had a romantic outdoor garden wedding. Vanecia made a grand entrance to their wedding arriving in a helicopter, which was a surprise from her family. The bride wore a red and cerise outfit with Swarovski crystals for the wedding and later changed in to a cerulean blue sharara for the reception. Bhavesh had to be ready way before the bride, as they had to drive from Standerton. Bhavesh was a really happy groom who couldn't wait to see his bride. The stage décor was once again beautiful from exquisite functions we always seem to get unique images when they do the décor.
