Planning a wedding can never be an easy task. I think no matter how simple or elaborate it is, the planning is still difficult. I can only imagine how much planning went into Trusha and Mitesh’s wedding. Everything was planned to the Tee. Bhagwan’s were the caterers and co-ordinates of this wedding. And if you have ever been to a wedding with Bhagwan’s you would know that the food and the wedding would be one of a kind. Trusha and Mitesh had huge wedding in Alberton Civic Center the hall was impeccably decorated as when I walked in I barely recognized it. If I had a tip for brides it would be this quote "If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." this quote is simply perfect as all the service providers from sound, décor to catering were professionals and her wedding went of beautifully without any hitches or complications. Couples often hire people who are not professionals in this line of work and trying to get people to fix someone else’s mess works out far more expensive in the long run. When it comes to weddings most thing are irreparable.
When I look at these shoots, I can hardly believe we did this. Mits and I have come a long way in the past 4years and it’s thanks to all my couples. Without their confidence in our ideas we wouldn't have seen some of the most beautiful places. If you've ever seen spring blossoms you'll agree with me when I say it takes your breath away. I must admit timing these flowers all the way from Johannesburg was not fun. I'm a perfectionist and once I have an idea in my head it very difficult to let go of the idea. How beautiful would a small intimate wedding would look in between these isles of trees? Looking at these photos now I almost forget that it was about 10degrees that day. The 3 of us were warm but Sheetal braved the cold in this beautiful outfit. Their Indian wedding took place in summer place Johannesburg around March this year, we managed to shoot them in the wedding outfit but not the reception outfit hence we decided to do another shoot. There colour of her reception lehenga was so bright and vibrant, she looked beautiful in any location you put her in. I was quite chuffed that the mountains turn purple in franschhoek at sunset, it matched here outfit perfectly!
