This story has to be one of the most romantic stories we have had a chance to be apart of.
Anesh contacted us in May 2015 for his wedding in Jan 2016. In his call, he mentioned that he and Arisha's parents would like to meet with us. We were a bit concerned that Arisha would not be meeting us and that we were a small part of a really big surprise. However after we met, we were left speechless by this big gesture, and possibly that best surprise we have had a chance to be apart of. Anesh was planning to whisk Arisha away to Paris to propose to her.The time frames were short, so her parents were planning her dream beach wedding and her engagement ceremony behind the scenes. Hence the whole thing had to be a surprise till the proposal. Between fake planes tickets and secret messages they all managed to pull of a beautiful surprise, which makes for a story nothing short of amazing and incredibly heartfelt.

When I look at these shoots, I can hardly believe we did this. Mits and I have come a long way in the past 4years and it’s thanks to all my couples. Without their confidence in our ideas we wouldn't have seen some of the most beautiful places. If you've ever seen spring blossoms you'll agree with me when I say it takes your breath away. I must admit timing these flowers all the way from Johannesburg was not fun. I'm a perfectionist and once I have an idea in my head it very difficult to let go of the idea. How beautiful would a small intimate wedding would look in between these isles of trees? Looking at these photos now I almost forget that it was about 10degrees that day. The 3 of us were warm but Sheetal braved the cold in this beautiful outfit. Their Indian wedding took place in summer place Johannesburg around March this year, we managed to shoot them in the wedding outfit but not the reception outfit hence we decided to do another shoot. There colour of her reception lehenga was so bright and vibrant, she looked beautiful in any location you put her in. I was quite chuffed that the mountains turn purple in franschhoek at sunset, it matched here outfit perfectly! If you missed there beautiful garden wedding on our blog click here What was suppose to be a spring wedding on the 1st of September turned out to be a rainy windy and cloudy day, so the wedding was moved indoors due to the weather. The wedding took place at Braeside in Balito and even tough the weather didn't keep up the wedding was beautiful and and Dineshen and Marishka made a perfect couple. Dineshan and Marishka met in school and have been together since then. One of Dineshen's friends mentioned in his speech that Dineshen is not someone you meet but rather that he is someone you experience. After this wedding i truly believe that! So stay tuned for part two of this wedding.
We simply loved this shoot. It was perfect from the weather to the couple. This location was an idea for about two and a half years. I must say that i couldn't have imagined it to be more perfect. Bhavani has to be one of our biggest Facebook fans and has been promoting us even before we did her wedding. So we hope she loves her pics more then any of our other pics...:)
Vanecia and Avin met 12 years ago. The high school sweet hearts got married in April 2012 at Makiti,Cradle of humankind. They had a romantic outdoor garden wedding. Vanecia made a grand entrance to their wedding arriving in a helicopter, which was a surprise from her family. The bride wore a red and cerise outfit with Swarovski crystals for the wedding and later changed in to a cerulean blue sharara for the reception. It was truly an extravagant affair, which started off with a beautiful garden wedding under these huge jacaranda trees and ended of with a peacock themed reception. The couple paid attention to every detail from the Violinist, who played Mohabbatein before Shanil walked in. As guest arrived to the wedding we took photos of them had them printed and framed and later gave them out as guests were leaving. I thought was a really nice gift or favour idea. The reception flowers where these beautiful bluish purple orchids where bought in all the way from Malaysia for the floral arrangements. The MC was the popular radio deejay Kreejay Govender. For the wedding Sheetal and Shanil wore traditional outfits a stuck to a gold colour palette, with Sheetals sari having a colourful encrusted stone boarder. There reception outfits where slightly different and colourful: Sheetal wore a 3 piece outfit which was purple, lime green and red, Shanil wore a western black suit but added a green shirt to match Sheetal. Guest where entertained and amazed from start to finish of this function.
