Roheet and Praveshni had a small engagement ceremony. We did a mini e-shoot before the actual engagement. Roheet and Mitesh are really good friend. I think Mits knows Roheet for most of his life. It different shooting couples we know as friends as they don't ever see us work. So it was weird for us to be shooting them and them to see us working. However the really awesome thing about shooting friends is that they are super comfortable around us. So we get a really natural feel to the pics which is something we always looking for. When I look at these shoots, I can hardly believe we did this. Mits and I have come a long way in the past 4years and it’s thanks to all my couples. Without their confidence in our ideas we wouldn't have seen some of the most beautiful places. If you've ever seen spring blossoms you'll agree with me when I say it takes your breath away. I must admit timing these flowers all the way from Johannesburg was not fun. I'm a perfectionist and once I have an idea in my head it very difficult to let go of the idea. How beautiful would a small intimate wedding would look in between these isles of trees? Looking at these photos now I almost forget that it was about 10degrees that day. The 3 of us were warm but Sheetal braved the cold in this beautiful outfit. Their Indian wedding took place in summer place Johannesburg around March this year, we managed to shoot them in the wedding outfit but not the reception outfit hence we decided to do another shoot. There colour of her reception lehenga was so bright and vibrant, she looked beautiful in any location you put her in. I was quite chuffed that the mountains turn purple in franschhoek at sunset, it matched here outfit perfectly! If you missed there beautiful garden wedding on our blog click here What was suppose to be a spring wedding on the 1st of September turned out to be a rainy windy and cloudy day, so the wedding was moved indoors due to the weather. The wedding took place at Braeside in Balito and even tough the weather didn't keep up the wedding was beautiful and and Dineshen and Marishka made a perfect couple. Dineshan and Marishka met in school and have been together since then. One of Dineshen's friends mentioned in his speech that Dineshen is not someone you meet but rather that he is someone you experience. After this wedding i truly believe that! So stay tuned for part two of this wedding.
Time for another sneak peek, this was our first shoot on our recent trip to India in August. Two beautiful girls with lots of personality, helium balloons and overcast rainy day. What more could I ask for ❤ Destination kids photography in Mumbai, IndiaA sneak peek of a fun colourful shoot we did it cape town.
Harsha and Nilesh met 3 and a half years ago. The couple got married this year May in Alberton civic Center. They had a beautiful traditional Gujarati wedding ceremony. Harsha says the highlight of her day was look on Nilesh's face as she walked down the isle. Nilesh's favorite part of the wedding day was and I quote 'how gorgeous harsha looked'. The sky at the time of the location shoot was just the most perfect shade of blue into purple. For all out new visitors check out the e-shoot we did a few months before the wedding. The couple honeymooned in Koh Samui, Thailand. Keep a look out for our next post all the way from India :)
