Life to a degree, is dualistic in nature we experience ups and downs we have good days where life goes according to plan, and we have bad days where life doesn’t. This is the nature of life, always fluctuating.
It's when those bad days get confused with days that are supposed to be filled with excitement and happiness, that's when life throws us in the middle off the ocean with not a single float and we are then forced to fight and swim. It's during these days that we learn vital life lessons and learn to appreciate every moment. It's also often moments like these that show us the character and strength of a person. Brides don't plan to spend the night before their wedding in a hospital. Sanam had a terrible accident the night before her wedding. She had sustained some serious injuries. Thankfully Sanam was okay and managed to get discharged so that she could attend her wedding. Sanam's strength throughout this ordeal left me in awe of her. She chose to pick up the pieces, carry on and turn the situation around. She choose to turn a bad day into a great day, one that she will definitely look back on and be very proud of. Planning a wedding can never be an easy task. I think no matter how simple or elaborate it is, the planning is still difficult. I can only imagine how much planning went into Trusha and Mitesh’s wedding. Everything was planned to the Tee. Bhagwan’s were the caterers and co-ordinates of this wedding. And if you have ever been to a wedding with Bhagwan’s you would know that the food and the wedding would be one of a kind. Trusha and Mitesh had huge wedding in Alberton Civic Center the hall was impeccably decorated as when I walked in I barely recognized it. If I had a tip for brides it would be this quote "If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." this quote is simply perfect as all the service providers from sound, décor to catering were professionals and her wedding went of beautifully without any hitches or complications. Couples often hire people who are not professionals in this line of work and trying to get people to fix someone else’s mess works out far more expensive in the long run. When it comes to weddings most thing are irreparable.
Roheet and Praveshni's wedding took place on a beautiful Benaulim Beach at the Taj Exotica in South Goa, India. Shooting destination weddings has its fair set of challenges but also is the ultimate dream for every wedding photographer. Its challenges being, that there is always the unknown, what gear to pack ( as you don't want to be traveling to heavy as its no joke to lift a heavy bag into the overhead plane cabin) and all the other things like climate, lighting etc...but because we are documentary wedding photographers we have learned to look all these challenges as rather opportunities to create new fresh images. Praveshni and Roheet amazed us by managing to shop for their wedding attire a few days before the wedding in Mumbai and believe me shopping in the hustle and bustle of the city is no easy task. i love that their outfits weren't coordinated and i thought that the color combination of purple and red was so original and different. The best part of this destination wedding for us had to be intimacy of the event. This will be a wedding Mitesh and i will never forget and i sure many off the guests that attended the wedding would say the same. |
